Day 1:
Arrival Nairobi (Kenya)
- You will be met at the International Airport of Nairobi by
your Driver/Guide and transferred to The Stanley Hotel booked on half board basis, HB
Day
2:
Nairobi – Maasai Mara.
-In the morning at 0800 hrs
pick up from your hotel in Nairobi and drive thru the Great Rift Valley
to Maasai Mara with lunch and game viewing en-route. Check in at
your lodge/camp then proceed with afternoon game drives in the reserve.
You will have dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or Similar, FB.
Day 3:
Full day in Maasai Mara
-Full day game drives on
the reserve, from 0830hrs to 1730hrs lunch picnic or back to the lodge
for hot lunch and continue with afternoon game viewing, Dinner and Overnight at Mara Sopa
Lodge or similar, FB.
Day
4:
Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
-After breakfast,
drive from Mara to Nakuru with your lunch en-route. Arrive Nakuru Park
in the evening for short game viewing before you check in at Lion Hill
Lodge for dinner and
overnight, FB.
Day 5:
Lake Nakuru - Nairobi – Kampala (Uganda)
- Depart Lake Nakuru after breakfast for Nairobi arriving
for lunch. Afternoon transfer to the airport for flight to
Kampala. Overnight at a hotel.
Day 6:
Kampala - Mbarara
- Depart Kampala for a 5 hour transfer to the Agip Motel for
Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7:
Mbarara - Bwindi Impenetrable
- Morning breakfast then take a 5 hour road transfer on a
very good road to the edge of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Home to the Mountain Gorillas. In the evening, take to the
Munyaga Trail to explore the Freshness of the Forest on a
Nature walk along the River Munyaga. Dinner and overnight at
the Bwindi Tented camp.
Day 8:
Bwindi Gorilla Tracking
- After breakfast, report at the park offices for a briefing
by the ranger guides prior to the trek to find the Mountain
Gorillas with picnic lunch. The gorillas are tracked,
located and after approximately one hour with them, return
to base for a shower and cold drink. Dinner and overnight at
Bwindi Tented Camp.
Day 9:
Bwindi - Lake Bunyonyi
- Travel to Kabale for lunch at the Lake Bunyonyi where you
could also take a canoe ride to explore the many Islands.
Later, depart for Mbarara arriving for Dinner and overnight
stay at the Agip Motel.
Day 10:
Lake Bunyonyi - Arusha (Tanzania)
- After morning breakfast transfer to Entebbe Airport for
afternoon flight to Kilimanjaro airport in Tanzania and
transfer to Arusha for overnight .
Day 11:
Arusha – Ngorongoro Crater Rim
- In the morning at
0830hrs pick up from your accommodation in Arusha and drive 1-0km to
Ngorongoro Crater rim via some point of views. Hot lunch in the lodge
and after lunch launch an easy walking trip along the Crater Rim for
about 3 km enjoying the beauty scenery of the Ngorongoro highlands.
Later walk back and meet your vehicle back to the lodge for dinner and
overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa lodge or Similar FB
Day 12:
Ngorongoro Crater Tour
- Breakfast then
descend into the Crater floor for both morning and afternoon game
drives. All the BIG FIVE Rhino Lion Leopard Buffalo and Elephant live
in this wonderful caldera, others are Zebra Hippo Wildebeest Hyena and
more…Birds includes flamingos on the Soda lake Geese Storks, Vultures
and more…Your lunch will be served in the picnic site at Ngoitokitok
swamp a Hippo pool. After lunch proceed with game viewing at 1645hrs
ascend the Crater for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa lodge or
Similar FB
Day
13: Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park
- Breakfast in
Ngorongoro then depart for Serengeti national Park with game drives
enroute where by you will arrive in the lodge for hot lunch. After lunch
it is optional where you will proceed with afternoon game drives in
Serengeti on you will relax at leisure in the lodge waiting for dinner
and overnight at Serengeti Sopa lodge or similar FB
Day 14:
Full day in Serengeti National Park
-After breakfast then
continues with both morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti
national Park to have a look for lion, leopard, Elephant, Cheetah,
Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest, Eland, Wild dog, Gazelles, Crocs and more.
Lot of birds include the Eurasia migrants. You will have all meals and
overnight in the same lodge FB.
Day 15:
Serengeti – Lake Manyara National Park
- After breakfast
check out and drive 220 to Manyara for hot lunch, and after lunch
you go for
afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at lake Manyara Serena lodge
or similar, FB
Day 16:
Arusha-Nairobi
After breakfast depart for Arusha arriving in time for
lunch. Afternoon transfer to Nairobi arriving by 1900 hours. End of Gofan Safaris Services |
