DAY 1: MACHAME GATE {1800m}
- MACHAME CAMP {3000m}
-Arrive to the Machame Gate from Arusha/Moshi in a 4WD
vehicle, introduction to your guide and porters. Registration is done
and thereafter start climb {Hiking/Trekking} with picnic lunch through
rain forest for approximately 4 to 5 hrs where you arrive to the Machame
Hut. Later afternoon walk up to a little higher altitude is done for
acclimatization. Return to Machame Hut for dinner and overnight.
DAY 2: MACHAME CAMP (3000m)-SHIRA CAMP (3800m)
-After breakfast, start climb through short Savannah
forest and other vegetation for approximately 4 to 5hrs, with picnic
lunch en route before arriving in the afternoon at the Shira Hut for
dinner and overnight.
DAY 3:SHIRA (3800m)- BARANCO camp(3950m)
-After breakfast a slow walk through semi glacier and
sandy areas with picnic lunch 3 to 4 hrs before arriving at the Baranco
Hut for dinner and overnight.
DAY 4:BARRANCO (3950m)- BARAFU camp (4600m)
-After breakfast, with picnic lunch enroute climb through
glaciers for approximately 4 to 5 hours before arriving the Barafu Hut
for dinner and overnight.
DAY-5:BARAFU(4600m)-UHURU-PEAK(5895m)-MWEKA camp(3100m)
-An early wake up call around 01.00hrs for preparation
and light breakfast before starting final ascent to the summit i.e.
either the Stella Point reached in approximately 5 to 6 hrs and a
further ascent to the Uhuru Peak reached in another approx 45minutes.
After signing and short rest at Barafu hut descend via the
Gilman’s Point down to Mweka hut for an hours rest with light breakfast
then descent down for dinner and overnight at Mweka hut.
DAY 6: MWEKA (3100m)-MWEKA GATE
-After breakfast, final descent to Mweka gate, thereafter
say Goodbye to your Guide/ Porters and connect a private transfer to
Arusha. Afternoon rest and relax at leisure in the hotel waiting for
dinner and overnight FB.
Day 7:
Arusha – Ngorongoro Crater Rim
- In the morning at
0830hrs pick up from your hotel in Arusha and drive 1-0km to Ngorongoro
Crater rim via some point of views. Hot lunch in the lodge and after
lunch launch an easy walking trip along the Crater Rim for about 3 km
enjoying the beauty scenery of the Ngorongoro highlands. Later walk back
and meet your vehicle back to the lodge for dinner and overnight in
Serena lodge,
Sopa lodge,
Wildlife lodge or Crater lodge. FB
Day 8:
Full day Crater Tour
- Breakfast then descend
into the Crater floor for both morning and afternoon game drives. All
the BIG FIVE; Rhino, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant live in this
wonderful caldera, others are Zebra Hippo Wildebeest Hyena and
more…Birds includes flamingos on the Soda lake, Geese, Storks,
Vultures and more…Your lunch will be served in the picnic site at
Ngoitoktok swamp a Hippo pool. After lunch proceed with game viewing at
1645hrs ascend the Crater for dinner and overnight in Serena lodge, Sopa
lodge, Wildlife lodge or Crater lodge. FB
Day 9:
Ngorongoro – Serengeti N.P
- Breakfast in
Ngorongoro then depart for Serengeti national Park with game drives
enroute where by you will arrive in the lodge for hot lunch. After lunch
it is optional where you will proceed with afternoon game drives in
Serengeti on you will relax at leisure in the lodge waiting for dinner
and overnight in Serena lodge, Sopa lodge, Wildlife lodge, Kirawira
Tented Camp, Ndutu lodge or Migration Camp. FB
Day 10:
Full day in Serengeti N.P
-After breakfast then
continues with both morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti
national Park to have a look for lion, leopard, Elephant, Cheetah,
Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest, Eland, Wild dog, Gazelles, Crocs and more.
Lot of birds includes the Eurasia migrants. You will have all meals and
overnight in the same lodge FB.
Day 11:
Serengeti – Lake Manyara N.P
- After breakfast check
out and drive 220km to Manyara for hot lunch and after lunch rest and
relax by the pool waiting for dinner and overnight in Manyara Hotel,
Serena Hotel, Eunoto Lodge or Kururumu Tented Lodge. FB
Day 12:
Lake Manyara N.P – Arusha
- Breakfast at 0700hrs followed by short game drives in
Lake Manyara Park. The park is home to Tree climbing Lion, Buffalo,
Giraffe, Hippo, troops of Baboons, also Flamingo birds, Ostrich,
Egyptian, Geese and more…At 1100hrs leave the park and drive back to
Arusha for hot lunch.
End of tour.
