DAY 1: Machame gate {1800m} - Machame
camp {3000m}
-Arrive to the Machame Gate from Arusha/Moshi in a 4WD
vehicle, introduction to your guide and porters. Registration is done
and thereafter start climb {Hiking/Trekking} with picnic lunch through
rain forest for approximately 4 to 5 hrs where you arrive to the Machame
Hut. Later afternoon walk up to a little higher altitude is done for
acclimatization. Return to Machame Hut for dinner and overnight.
DAY 2:Machame camp (3000m)-Shira camp (3800m)
-After breakfast, start climb through short Savannah
forest and other vegetation for approximately 4 to 5hrs, with picnic
lunch en route before arriving in the afternoon at the Shira Hut for
dinner and overnight.
DAY 3:Shira (3800m)- Baranco camp(3950m)
-After breakfast a slow walk through semi-glacier and
sandy areas with picnic lunch 3 to 4 hrs before arriving at the Baranco
Hut for dinner and overnight.
DAY 4:Baranco (3950m)- Barafu camp (4600m)
-After breakfast, with picnic lunch enroute climb through
glaciers for approximately 4 to 5 hours before arriving the Barafu Hut
for dinner and overnight. Barafu Hut {4600m} - Stella Point {5750m} –
UHURU PEAK {5895m}
DAY5:Barafu (4600m)-Uhuru Peak(5895m)-Mweka camp (3100m)
-An early wake up call around 01.00hrs for preparation
and light breakfast before starting final ascent to the summit i.e.
either the Stella Point reached in approximately 5 to 6 hrs and a
further ascent to the Uhuru Peak reached in another approx 45minutes.
After Signing and short rest at Barafu hut descend via the
Gilman’s Point down to Mweka hut for an hours rest with light breakfast
then descent down for dinner and overnight at Mweka hut.
Day 6: Mweka (3100m)- Mweka gate
-After breakfast, final descent to Mweka gate, thereafter
say Goodbye to your Guide/ Porters and connect private transfers to
Arusha. Afternoon rest and relax at leisure in the hotel waiting for
dinner and overnight FB.
Day
7:
Arusha - Zanzibar
- Breakfast in your
hotel then at 1045jhrs transfer to Arusha airstrip for a scheduled
flight depart for Zanzibar at 1100jhrs, meet with our staff at the
airport or Seaport and transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight,
booked on half board basis. HB
Day
8:
Tour in Zanzibar
-Breakfast in your
hotel followed by excursions from your hotel to
(Spice farm and Town
tour or Prison Island and Jozani Forest). Lunch en-route then late
afternoon return to your hotel for dinner and overnight. HB
Day
9:
Stone Town- East coast
- Breakfast in your
town hotel then drive to the East Coast of Zanzibar for relaxation on
the white sand beaches of the Coastal resorts. You will have dinner and
overnight in the resort. HB
Day
10 & 11:
R & R
- Rest and relax at
leisure on the white sand beaches of the Coastal resorts. All meals and
overnight at your hotel booked on half board basis. HB
Day
12:
Zanzibar - Home
- After breakfast
check out from your hotel and transfer to the airport or seaport for
your flight or sheep back home.
