Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
- In the morning at 0830hrs depart from Nairobi and drive to Amboseli National Park for short game drives in the park before lunch at the lodge/camp. At 1500hrs another game drives in the park to sun set and drive back to the lodge. This is the park that is probably most famous for its photographs of elephant and snow-capped Kilimanjaro in the background - a picture that above all says, ‘come to Africa’ FB. Day 2: Amboseli National Park: -We explore on early morning and afternoon game drives hopping to spot the diverse range of wildlife. This is one of the best places in Africa to watch elephant, reputedly with the biggest tusks in Africa, cats include lion, leopard and cheetah, and there’s an abundance of plains game meandering on the grassy plains. Amboseli’s landscape is of dry and dusty open plains trampled by hundreds of animals but it is well-watered thanks to the melting snow on the top of Kili that feeds the springs in the park FB. Day 3: Amboseli – Tsavo West: -Next we head to Tsavo East where there is some excellent scenery of vast rolling plains and scrubby bush dotted with baobab trees. The wildlife includes all the Big 5 plus zebra, giraffe, cheetah, various species of antelope and over 500 species of birds. Tsavo is particularly known for its huge herds of elephant. Day 4: Tsavo West – Nairobi: -This day you woke up for early morning game drives in Tsavo park, at 0900hrs return to the lodge/camp for late breakfast. Thereafter, check out from the lodge and continue with game viewing in the park en-rout to arrive in Nairobi in time lunch. End of Gofan Safaris Services |
