Trip Summary:

This is a wildlife Safari to the northern tour sites of Tanzania combined with beach holiday into the spice Island of Zanzibar in the Indian Ocean. The tour which will take you to the heart of where the world’s event of millions of wildebeest migrations start, this is the great Serengeti National park for 2 nights,  2 nights in Ngorongoro, 1 night at Lake Manyara,  also a night in Arusha town and 2 nights in the spice Island of Zanzibar in Stone Town and 3 nights  at the East Coastal resorts of Zanzibar with white sand beaches. Accommodation at standard or luxury lodges, luxury Tented camp or budget camping on safari booked on full board basis FB, and in the resorts in Zanzibar booked on half board basis HB.

Day 1: Arusha – Ngorongoro Crater Rim

- In the morning at 0830hrs pick up from your hotel in Arusha and drive 1-0km to Ngorongoro Crater rim via some point of views. Hot lunch in the lodge and after lunch launch an easy walking trip along the Crater Rim for about 3 km enjoying the beauty scenery of the Ngorongoro highlands. Later walk back and meet your vehicle back to the lodge for dinner and overnight in Serena lodge, Sopa lodge, Wildlife lodge or Crater lodge. FB

Day 2: Full day Crater Tour

- Breakfast then descend into the Crater floor for both morning and afternoon game drives. All the BIG FIVE i.e. Rhino, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant live in this wonderful caldera, others are Zebra, Hippo, Wildebeest, Hyena and more…Birds includes flamingos on the Soda lake, Geese, Storks, Vultures and more…Your lunch will be served in the picnic site at Ngoitoktok swamp a Hippo pool. After lunch proceed with game viewing at 1645hrs ascend the Crater for dinner and overnight in Serena lodge, Sopa lodge, Wildlife lodge or Crater lodge. FB

Day 3:  Ngorongoro – Serengeti N.P

- Breakfast in Ngorongoro then depart for Serengeti national Park with game drives enroute where by you will arrive in the lodge for hot lunch. After lunch it is optional where you will proceed with afternoon game drives in Serengeti on you will relax at leisure in the lodge waiting for dinner and overnight in Serena lodge, Sopa lodge, Wildlife lodge, Kirawira Tented Camp, Ndutu lodge or Migration Camp. FB

Day 4: Full day in Serengeti N.P

-After breakfast then continues with both morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti national Park to have a look for lion, leopard, Elephant, Cheetah, Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest, Eland, Wild dog, Gazelles, Crocs and more. Lot of birds includes the Eurasia migrants. You will have all meals and overnight in the same lodge FB.

Day 5: Serengeti – Lake Manyara N.P

- After breakfast check out and drive 220 to Manyara for hot lunch and after lunch rest and relax by the pool waiting for dinner and overnight in Manyara Hotel, Serena Hotel, Eunoto Lodge or Kururumu Tented Lodge. FB

Day 6: Lake Manyara N.P – Arusha

- Breakfast at 0700hrs followed by short game drives in Lake Manyara Park. The park is home to Tree climbing Lion, Buffalo, Giraffe, Hippo, troops of Baboons, also Flamingo birds, Ostrich, Egyptian, Geese and more…At 1100hrs leave the park and drive back to Arusha for hot lunch. Afternoon rest and relax at leisure in the hotel, evening bird watching in Arusha town center near the central market. Dinner and overnight in hotel. HB

Day 7:  Arusha - Zanzibar

- Breakfast in your hotel then at 1045hrs transfer to Arusha airstrip for a scheduled flight depart for Zanzibar at 1100jhrs, meet with our staff at the airport or Seaport and transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight, booked on half board basis. HB

Day 8:  Tour in Zanzibar

-Breakfast in your hotel followed by excursions from your hotel to

(Spice farm and Town tour or Prison Island and Jozani Forest). Lunch en-route then late afternoon return to your hotel for dinner and overnight. HB

Day 9: Stone Town- East Coast

- Breakfast in your town hotel then drive to the East Coast of Zanzibar for relaxation on the white sand beaches of the Coastal resorts. Dinner and overnight in the resort. HB

Day 10 & 11: R & R

- Rest and relax at leisure on the white sand beaches of the Coastal resorts. All meals and overnight at your hotel booked on half board basis. HB

Day 12:  Zanzibar- Home

- After breakfast check out from your hotel and transfer to the airport or seaport for your flight or sheep back home.  End of Gofan Safaris Services
