SIGHT 017: AMBONI CAVES

This sight is located in Tanga region on the coastal limestone series caused by monument of earths crust penetrated in the limestone rocks by rainwater contain carbon dioxide Co2. This acid solution, slowed dissolves the limestone and creating underground caves. Still today, some are continuing to form STALACTITE and STALAGMITE, The caves estimated to extend to an area of 234km. These are warm caves, so you need to put on light clothes.
