SIGHT 08: MULALA

Mulala situated 30 km from Arusha town on the slopes of Mount Meru 4665m beneath a canopy of banana trees and surrounded by spectacular scenery. AGAPE women group is the only group that launched, implemented and developing the cultural tourism program in the area. To Do: Tour of mama Anna’s quaint cheese making dairy, guided tour criss-crossing coffee and banana farms and glimpse of daily life of Meru farmers and thorough information on surrounding and crops. 3 days tour is ok to explore this sight and accommodation in budget campsites or home stay

SIGHT 012: ILKIDING’A

This sight is located 10km from Arusha town on the green slopes of Mt. Meru 4665m. The people of Wa-arusha tribe are all farmers living in this productive village and this tribe of wa-arusha generated from the Maasai family whom have shifted from pastoralism to agriculture.  The villagers perfectly show the tradition from traditional into modern African life. To do; A view into Wa-arusha culture by visiting traditional medicine men/ herbalist, testing traditional food, walking thru fields on the slopes of Mt. Meru and waterfalls, visit craftsmen who produce traditional objects. 1 to 2 days is ok and enough to explore this sight and accommodation can be in budget campsites or hotels in Arusha town.
