SIGHT 011: PANGANI COAST

This historical town of Pangani located 50km from Tanga region or 4 – 5 hours drive from Arusha. This sight serves as reminder of the strong Arabic influence and then later Germany and British colonial period in East Africa. To do; visit to a former slave labor camp and slave market sight, walk thru Pangani historical Town, a river cruise thru the vast coconut plantations a fishing experience with the local fishermen and also diving and snorkeling.
