Is a Mountainous stip that borders the shine of Lake Tanganyika, located 16 km from Kigoma, covering an area of 52 sq km. The park vegetation varies from evergreen forests of tall trees to open woodlands and grass land. Common mammals in the park are forest species mostly primates include, chimpanzees, baboons, blue monkey, red tailed monkey and red colobus monkey.
