This is the Sout largest Park in Tanzania and greatest concentration of Hippos and cross which located West of Tanzania, east of Lake Tanganyika and cover an area of 4471 sq km with its vast flood plains, the palm fringed lake chala and the Katuma River. The park is noted for its Miombo woodland, wildlife: is home to Buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion zebras, eland, Impala, topi roan and sable. Birds: over 400 species of birds. Accommodation: Tented camp, camp site in and lodges outside park. |
