Location:
The Blue-bay Beach Resort & Spa is located on the east coast of the Zanzibar Island, in an area known as Kiwengwa. The Zanzibar Island lies 35 KM off the eastern coast of Africa and is one of the two main islands of an autonomous state within the larger republic of Tanzania.
The Resort is less than a leisurely hour's drive from the Airport - Abeid Karume Airport - on an all weather tarmac road. To fly into Zanzibar, visitors take a 45-minutes flight from Nairobi, Kenya, which is the region's largest city with air-links to virtually every major world city. East African Safari Air, Kenya Airways and KLM fly into Zanzibar daily from Nairobi. Many other international airlines fly to Dar es Salaam, a city on the coast of mainland Tanzania, from where you can take a local flight to the island or choose to cross over by ferry. The trip by sea last approximately 2 hours.

Located behind the Junior Suites in beautiful landscaped GARDENS. They are in 03 bungalows each with 02 en-suite bedrooms. Each Room is at least 45 Sq. Meters.
Superior Rooms:
Bedroom cottages located on rising ground overlooking verdant gardens, the public areas, the pool, the sparkling white beach and the azure seas beyond. All the rooms in this category are SEA VIEW. Each room is approximately 50 Sq Metres.
Club 24 Rooms:
At the end of 2006 in response to tremendous demand for Bluebay Beach Resort & Spa it was decided that a few additional rooms would be hardy. But, in order to maintain the warm and un-crowded atmosphere that is so treasured by the guests at the Hotel, the extension had to be designed in such a way that it integrated into the hotel without affecting the Bluebay spirit manifest and well developed over the years.
Junior Suites:
Made up of 3 bungalows each with 02 interconnected Suites, in a private area, closer to the Ocean (hardly 30metres from the beach). All sea view, Large rooms (at least 90 Sq Metres) with a lounge area incorporated in the room, an extensive external Verandah and a very unique, external garden shower (in back of room and enclosed in private compound).
