2 to 12 year sharing with adult are charged 50% of adult double rate, 13 to 17 years are charged 75% of adult double rate, under 3 years free of charge. And 2 to 17 years occupying their own room are charged 75% of adult rate

Palm trees line the coast and at the Lodge we have both landscaped gardens and “wild” areas which include several species of hibiscus, banana, and palm. There is an abundance of mango trees that are favorites of the Vervet Monkeys!

-Fauna
Vervet Monkeys inhabit the trees throughout the camp and in the evenings, you can hear the calls of Bush Babies. For bird enthusiasts, we have surveyed over 95 different types of birds around the camp and surrounding areas including the illusive African Fin-foot. Commonly seen birds include Kingfishers, Bee Eaters Terns, Palm Nut Vultures, Kites, and Fish Eagles.
-Marine Life
The marine life around Mkoma Bay abounds in many species of fish such as Red Snapper, Kingfish, and Tuna, and also crab, lobster, octopus, and shrimp. Starfish, shells, and sand dollars can often be found along the beach. Sea turtles have been seen laying their eggs on the beach and we are involved in the local initiatives to protect these magnificent creatures.
