Detailed Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive into Arusha Tanzania
- On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your staff and transferred about half hour drive in your private Vehicle to Arusha for overnight at a Hotel booked on bed and breakfast basis. BB

Day 2: Arusha - Tarangire National Park
In the morning at 0830hrs pick up from your hotel in Arusha and drive on tarmac road 120km to Tarangire National Park for game drives. Lunch picnic there after lunch continue with afternoon game viewing in the park to look for Lion, Leopard, Elephant, buffalo, Python, Zebra, Oryx, Impala and more... Over 450 species of birds have been observed. Lunch picnic and there after proceed with afternoon game viewing before you exit the park and drive to Manyara for dinner and overnight at Fanaka lodge. Day 3: Tarangire – Lake Eyasi:
-In the morning at 0830hrs after breakfast, depart for Lake Eyasi located in the Eastern Wing of the Great Rift Valley on the South-west of Ngorongoro Highlands where the Bushmen tribes of Hadzabe and datoga. On the way as from Tarangire, you will see the formation of the Rift-Valley where you will cross through the cliff and see Lake Manyara from the top. You will arrive at Lake Eyasi in time for lunch at your lodge. At 15hrs commence a short walk and get familiar with the lodge and the surrounding. You will have dinner and overnight at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge. FB

Day 4 and 5: Full days at Lake Eyasi
The Hadza people, or Hadzabe'e, are an ethnic group in central Tanzania living around Lake Eyasi in the central Rift Valley and neighboring Serengeti Plateau. The Hadza number just under 1000. Some 300 - 400 Hadza live as hunter-gatherers, much as they have for thousands or even tens of thousands of years; they are the last functioning hunter-gatherers in Africa. The Hadza are not closely related to any other people. While traditionally considered an East African branch of the Khoisan peoples, primarily because their language has clicks, modern genetic research suggests that they may be more closely related to the Pygmies.

Visit Hadzabe community to explore their local ways of life, Discover plant species used by the Hadzabe for making poison arrows, Identify indigenous roots, tubers, fruits, herbs, leaves, and wild seeds that are used as food and medicine by the Hadzabe community, Participate in hunting, collecting fruits, and wild honey gathering, Practice the local skills of using a bow and arrow during hunting activities, Experience a Bushmen trekking adventure and visit Bushmen cave paintings.

Day 6: Eyasi - Olduvai Gorge - Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, your guide should collect picnic lunch boxes and depart for Serengeti National Park, across Ngorongoro Conservation, passing via Olduvai Gorge. Olduvai Gorge is the prehistoric site where Dr. Louis Leakey discovered the remains of Homo-habilis (Handy man) regarded as mankind's first step on the path of human evolution. Your picnic lunch will be served on the way.

The Serengeti is probably the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world. Within its 15,000 sq km area it hosts 3 million large mammals. More than 35 species of plain animals- zebra, wildebeest, eland, giraffe, and others are found here. And so for the big five: elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and rhino. The park is the staging zone for one the most spectacular events in the natural world- the annual migration of wildebeest. This commences around June when over 1 million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle head for the Maasai Mara in Kenya in search of pasture. They are followed closely by the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. The Serengeti also has over 500 species of birds. Dinner and overnight at Tukaone Tented Camp. FB.

Day 7: Full day Game drives in Serengeti.
You dedicate this day to Serengeti and take a morning and an afternoon game drive.
Meals and overnight in Serengeti at your camp.

Day 8: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater Tour
Walk up early morning for breakfast, then at 0700hrs depart for Ngorongoro Crater with picnic lunches and descend into the Crater floor for game drives. All the BIG FIVE Rhino Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant live in this wonderful caldera, others are Zebra, Hippo, Wildebeest, Hyena and more... Birds includes flamingos on the Soda Lake, Geese, Storks, Vultures and more... Your lunch will be served in the picnic site in the Crater at Ngoitoktok swamp, a Hippo pool. After lunch, proceed with afternoon game viewing. At 1530hrs ascend the Crater and drive to the Crater Rim for dinner and overnight at Rhino Lodge.

Day 9: Ngorongoror – Arusha (Shopping Day)
At 0900hrs after breakfast, leave Ngorongoro and drive back to Arusha, visit Cultural heritage and other souvenir shops part of Arusha Town tour, you will stay overnight at Mc Ellys Hotel. BB

Day 10: Airport transfer
Breakfast at your hotel, and at any time of your international flight, you will be transferred to airport for your return flight back home, end of safari
