Kibale National Park

Kibale National park is situated in the west side of the country near Fort Portal, which is 320km from Kampala, and the park is covering 776 sq km. This park is also the most accessible of Uganda's major rainforests,

wildlife; and the park is also home to a remarkable 13 primate species, including Chimpanzee, the very localized red colobus and L'Hoest's monkey. Other mammals include forest elephant, buffalo, giant forest hog and many antelope species. Botanists and butterfly lovers will enjoy very much in this site,

Birds; bird life is very broad in this park with 335 species recorded including the endemic Prirogrine's ground thrush.

Accommodation; there are bandas luxury tented camp budget lodges and a luxury lodge.

Activities; the site offers game viewing trekking and birding at any time of the year.
