The Republic of Kenya, the land of contrasts, is not a traveler's guide cliche. The country straddles the equator, lies between parallels 4 degrees South and North. The South Easterly shores are washed by the Indian Ocean, and to the west Kenya shares the waters of Lake Victoria, the second largest fresh water lake in the world, with Uganda and Tanzania. With land of endless, Kenya is potential for the wildlife enthusiast, from great migratory herds of open savannah to an incredible abundance of birdlife from the depth of a tropical rain forest to the depth of the Indian ocean with the best game parks and reserves in Africa, accommodations varies from top class, standard to budget means.

Populations are 28 million with 85 distinct linguistic groups. National language is Kiswahili/ Swahili while English is official language.

There is no winter here, in the Northern area from May to October, the temperature vary from 14oc-22oc and from November to March 22-30oc. The coastal areas are hot and humid with an average temperature of 30oc.
