Detailed Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha -to- Tarangire National Park (TT – 2 hours)
- Breakfast at your lodge, at 0800hrs depart for from Arusha with picnic lunch to Tarangire National Park for morning and afternoon game viewing. At 1300hrs after picnic lunch, continue with an afternoon game drives in the park. Expect to see animals such as Lion, herds of Zebra, Buffalo, Giraffe, Baboon, hyena, eland, kudu, Cheetah, warthog, Blue and Vervet monkey. The Tarangire Park is featured by Huge Baobab Trees and Herds of Elephants. About 450 species of birds have been recorded. Later at 1630hrs leave the park and drive to Mto-wa-Mbu for dinner and overnight, booked on full board basis, FB.

Day 2: Drive - to - Manyara National Park (TT – 2 hours)
At 0700 hrs after breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drives at Lake Manyara National Park until noon. The park is located in the Eastern Wing of Great Rift Valley with amazing landscape, it is home to Tree climbing Lions, Hippo, Elephant, Zebra, Buffalo, Giraffe, Baboon, Blue and Vervet monkey, Warthog and more…About 350 species of birds have been recorded, the park Lake Manyara provides opportunities for ornithologists keen on viewing and observing over 300 migratory birds, including flamingo, long-crested eagle and grey-headed kingfisher. At 1800hrs drive to back to Mto-wa-Mbu for dinner and overnight at camping site booked on full board basis, FB

Day 3: Manyara - Serengeti National Park (TT – 3 hours)
Breakfast at your lodge, at 0730hrs depart for Serengeti National Park across Ngorongoro Conservation. You arrive at the lodge in time for lunch at 1200hrs at your lodge. After lunch spend an hour at leisure, then at 1400hrs go for an afternoon game drive in the park.
The Serengeti is probably the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world. Within its 15,000 sq km area it hosts 3 million large mammals. More than 35 species of plain animals- zebra, wildebeest, eland, giraffe, and others are found here. And so for the big five: elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and rhino. The park is the staging zone for one the most spectacular events in the natural world- the annual migration of wildebeest. This commences around June when over 1 million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle head for the Maasai Mara in Kenya in search of pasture. They are followed closely by the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. The Serengeti also has over 500 species of birds. You will have dinner and overnight at camping site booked on full board basis, FB.

Day 4: Game drives in Serengeti National Park:
Serengeti is a BIG game heaven, at 0700hrs you dedicate this day to Serengeti and take a morning and an afternoon game drive. You will have all meals and overnight in Serengeti at campsite, booked on full board basis, FB

Day 5: Serengeti – to - Ngorongoro Crater tour(TT – 2.5 hours)
Wake up early morning for breakfast then at 0600hrs depart for Ngorongoro Crater, descend down into the Crater floor for game drives. All the BIG FIVE Rhino Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant live in this wonderful caldera, others are Zebra, Hippo, Wildebeest, Hyena and more… Birds includes flamingos on the Soda Lake, Geese, Storks, Vultures and more… At 1150hrs break for picnic lunch, which will be served at the picnic site in the Crater, Ngoitoktok swamp, a Hippo pool. After lunch proceed with afternoon in the Crater, at 1600hrs ascend the Crater and direct to the camping site, you will have dinner and overnight at Camping site, booked on full board basis, FB.

Day 6: Ngorongoro – Arusha (TT – 2.30 hours).
Wake up at 0700hrs for breakfast. Then at 0900hrs check out and drive back to Arusha, OPTION stops at extra cost for SHOPPING at either Karatu, Manyara, Makuyuni or in Arusha. You may opt to visit Maasai cultural mbomas for traditional dance, banquet, engage into dancing, take a lot of pictures with Maasai tribe, barbeque, hot lunch and later evening drive back to Arusha, End of Service by Gofan Safaris & Travel Africa
