Itinerary

Day 1: Kampala or Entebbe -to Mbarara overnight.
In the morning at 0800hrs, you will be picked up from Kampala or Entebbe by our driver, who will then transfer you further west to Mbarara for your overnight stay.

Day 2: Mbarara to Bwindi National Park.
After breakfast at 7.00am, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, early lunch will be en-route before Bwindi. Transit time: 4-5 hours (depending on the stops made on the way and the lodge used). Meal Plan-Lunch and Dinner, Overnight at Silver Back Lodge booked on full board basis (FB)

Day 3: Gorilla tracking & Hiking in the forest.
After an early breakfast, at 7.30am transfer to the park headquarters and on arrival head for briefing by a ranger guide at the park headquarters, you will then enter the forest depending on where your gorilla group is located today for your gorilla trekking adventure. The beauty of this rain forest is spectacular. The area offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored. Many find it to be a rare and moving moment to come up close with a mountain gorilla. You will later return to your Lodge for dinner and overnight stay at SILVER BACK Lodge booked on full board basis (FB)

Day 4: Depart to Entebbe Airport Guest House.
After an early breakfast at 7.00am, transfer to Entebbe with Lunch en-route. You will proceed to Entebbe Transit Time 7-9 Hours and check in at Airport Guest House for overnight. The reason to stay here is because your flight to VFA departs at mid-night.

Day 5: Victoria Falls Safari Club, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe:
- Midnight transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your flight departs at 0245hrs via Addis and arrive Victoria Falls Airport at 0455hrs where you will be met and transferred to Victoria Falls Safari Club to proceed with VicFalls program. The lodge is resting on the southern banks of the Zambezi River at the western end of the eponymous falls, this popular tourist town is compact enough to walk around and makes an ideal base for travellers exploring the seventh wonder of the world, the unfathomably vast Victoria Falls. About two-thirds of the falls can be viewed from the Zimbabwean side and, while the falls are undoubtedly the star attraction, the area provides both adventure seekers and sightseers with plenty of opportunities to warrant a longer stay. Popular activities include scenic flights over the falls in helicopters or microlights, bungee jumping off the Victoria Falls Bridge, white-water rafting (seasonal), and day trips to Chobe National Park. The town itself offers some excellent accommodation and restaurant options as well as an eclectic variety of African curios and authentic art sold by friendly Zimbabwean locals who are wonderfully welcoming and eager to help you enjoy your stay.

Overnight: Victoria Falls Safari Club
Located just 4kms from Victoria Falls, and situated within the magnificent grounds of the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge resort.
The Safari Club comprises 16 Club Rooms & 4 Club Suites. The luxurious rooms have uninterrupted views of the unspoilt bushveld and spectacular sunsets. All rooms have three-quarter beds that can be converted into king beds. There are 2 sets of interleading Club Rooms and 2 sets of Club Suites interleading into Club Rooms. Room facilities include: complimentary mini bar which is re-stocked daily with local beer and soft drinks, house wine and bottled water, digital safes large enough to hold laptop computers, international multi sockets, beverage station including Nespresso machine, LED lighting, gauze screens and sliding glass doors opening out onto a private balcony, complimentary WiFi, and air-conditioning. The Club Suites offer the same facilities as the Club Rooms, but also include a spacious adjacent sitting room.
The Safari Club has its own Club Lounge, and offers a butler-style service, complimentary afternoon tea and pastries served 15h30 to 16h30, complimentary sundowners and canapés served from 17h30 to 18h30 and a complimentary shuttle service to the Victoria Falls, town centre and markets. This award-winning restaurant is open on three sides and overlooks the waterhole at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, offering a unique opportunity to view elephant and other wildlife as you enjoy your meal – truly some of the finest dining in Victoria Falls.
The a la carte dinner menu includes popular dishes with a local twist such as flame-grilled warthog, Zambezi bream, seared kudu fillet and crocodile stir-fry, while the lunch menu offers a selection of pies, salads and a sushi platter. Breakfast consists of an extensive continental buffet and an a la carte selection of cooked dishes, such as the ‘Livukile’ breakfast of soft poached eggs on toasted brown bread, with honey glazed ham and grilled tomato topped with hollandaise sauce.
MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant is open for breakfast from 7am to 10am, lunch from 12.30pm to 2pm and dinner from 7pm to 10pm. Bookings are essential for dinner. The dress code is smart-casual.

Chobe Day Trip
The ultimate safari experience unfolds on a day trip to Chobe National Park in Botswana, which boasts the world’s largest elephant population. The game cruise on the Chobe River brings you close to brilliant bird life, pods of wallowing hippos, primeval crocodiles and elephants in their sheer number. The afternoon land-based safari heads deeper into the Park to spot the elusive big cats that call Chobe their home.
The Boma Restaurant
The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show is a “must do” Victoria Falls dining and entertainment experience, specializing in traditional African food, drumming and dancing. The food is cooked and served in the style and quantity of a lavish feast, including irresistible desserts.
On arrival, you are dressed in a Chitenge (traditional sarong) and welcomed into a vibrant atmosphere in which the tantalizing aromas of local dishes and game meat on the braai (barbecue) fill the restaurant, which is partially open to the star-filled African sky.
Your meal begins with a mouth-watering platter of starters whilst the buffet includes soup from the campfire, a range of salads, game meat cooked on a braai (barbecue), followed by desserts. Vegetarian options are also available, as well as local dishes such as peanut butter spinach
